On the Farm with Grampa

Emerson and I made the trip to Iowa last weekend to spend time with Gramma and Grampa. The little girl traveled well with the help of a portable DVD player and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. In addition to seeing my mom's sisters and other family, the highlight of the trip was spending time on the farm. I have so many fond memories of my childhood on the farm. I really look forward to sharing this with Emerson.

There are few things better than watching Emerson take my Dad's hand to explore her new surroundings. She loved the cows. She pointed to them individually and said "Bobby". By the end of the trip she had mastered "Moo". The big tractors were intimidating but the little guy was just her size. What a great trip!
