Aruba 2010

Eric and I were so fortunate to get away for a winter vacation this week! We spent our honeymoon in Aruba in 2006 and fell in love with the turquoise Caribbean water, the white sand beaches, and of course, the sun! My parents arrived on Tuesday afternoon to spend the week with Emerson. Eric's parents and sister took over the reigns on Saturday morning. Emers' is one lucky and loved little girl! Thank you again family for taking time off of work, making the trip north, and taking such good care of her! We appreciate you!

We flew out early Wednesday morning and arrived in Aruba mid-afternoon. We joined our good friends, Jeff and Clare, for a pina colada on the beach by 4 pm! It was wonderful! We stayed at the Tamarjin Aruba All-Inclusive, the sister resort of where we stayed for our honeymoon. The remainder of the week was spent lounging by the pool, walking along the beach, swimming in the ocean, eating, drinking, and simply, enjoying one another. Eric and Jeff did manage to squeeze in a quick 9 of golf as well. It was fantastic!

We missed Emerson like crazy but with daily phone calls and knowing she was being so well taken care of (aka...spoiled rotten), we had a wonderful time!
