In addition to walking like crazy, Emerson has spent some quality time with her parents this week. Annie, who usually watches Emers on Thursdays and Fridays, is vacationing in Florida for 2 weeks. So Eric and I are playing the schedule game. It's working out but we are looking forward to Annie's return. Now that Emerson is feeling better, she is able to return to the gym daycare and us to working out. I think Lifetime Fitness helps us all from going stir crazy!
Emerson has a new trick that totally makes me laugh. The toy stroller that you may have seen in previous entries takes countless trips around our house each day. This week Emerson has started filling the stroller with her other toys before she takes her stroll. She'll pack it plum full of toys, take a few steps, stop to inspect that nothing has fallen out, and continues on. She's very serious about making sure her baby dolls and legos get to see every inch of our house like she does now. She has also started mimicking some of the things we do. If Eric or I shake a toy a certain way, Emerson will do the same. Now we definitely have to watch the things we do and soon enough, say!
