Good Question Kiddo.

Emerson has her first dental appointment next week so we have had many of conversations about teeth, cavities, and the dentist.  Our conversation this morning puts a smile on my face.  I love the mind of this three year old!

Emerson: "How does the dentist do that?" (referring to knowing how to fix our teeth)

Melissa:  "He went to school to be a doctor."

Emerson:  "I like doctors.  Are you a doctor Mommy?"

Melissa:  "No, I'm a nurse. I went to school to put people to sleep for surgery."

Pause + pondering look...

Emerson:  "Do you have beds at your work?"

Melissa:  "Yes."

Emerson:  "Do you have pillows at your work?"

Melissa:  "Yes."

Emerson:  "Do you have blankets?"

Melissa:  "Yes."

Emerson:  "Pink blankets?"

Melissa:  "No, just white blankets."

Emerson:  "Okay."
