Emerson and Hope have had so much fun this summer.
Summer fun includes but not limited to: blow-up pool parties, playing with chalk, riding each others tricycles, pushing strollers, slides, play tents, hide-and-seek, ring-around-the-rosie, and shoveling the rock pile or mulch.
It has been fun for us as parents to watch their friendship evolve as they develop physically, emotionally, and socially. At the beginning of the summer, they were just starting to interact with one another. As summer comes to an end, they run outside calling each others names and often hug when they meet. It's not uncommon to find them holding hands too. So cute!
