Colorado + Renee

I was so fortunate to be able to sneak away for a long weekend in Colorado with my dear friend, Renee Boyd. Renee was listed in my baby book as my "first friend", served as the maid of honor in our wedding, and is one of the coolest people I know. It was a wonderful weekend filled with sushi, wine, shopping, mountains, yoga, massages, laughter, and a few tears. Renee and I can go weeks or even months without connecting but when we do, it's as if we haven't missed a beat. I love this woman!

I hope with every part of me that one day Emerson will have a friendship as true as the one that Renee and I share. It was wonderful to get away but so great to get home to my big, strong guy and favorite little lady!
